About Bob Weiss

Bob Weiss is President of R J Weiss Consulting, LLC, located in Brookfield, WI. During his career, Bob has worked with over 150 organizations. Clients, located in the Midwest and nationally, include manufacturing, information technology, health care, law, secondary and higher education, publishing, charitable foundations, and community-based social services.

As a practitioner, he has held positions as: a professional mediator; a multi-state HR and training manager for a NYSE Company; and VP of HR in organizations up to 10,000 employees.

Bob also brings over 15 years experience teaching postgraduate and undergraduate university courses and seminars in Leadership, Business Coaching, Conflict Mediation, Organizational Development and Change, Human Resources Management, Labor Relations, Compensation and Benefits, and Recruitment and Hiring.

Bob holds a Master’s degree with concentrations in management and labor relations from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. He is certified as a Master Personal and Executive Coach by the College of Executive Coaching. Bob works as a business coach on a national basis with business owners, presidents and CEOs, other managers, and professionals of large and small businesses. He has served a multi-year appointment to the Membership Committee of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and coordinated research for the ICF.

Bob’s breadth of experience has provided him the opportunity to observe the best and worst of management practices and to understand the many pressures inherent in business owner and senior leadership positions. He combines these insights in collaborating with clients to create motivating and productive workplace cultures that improve business results through conflict mediation, business coaching, leadership development, and OD Consulting.
